Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs and disclose symptoms effectively, identifying acuteness and establishing treatment goals.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are family-centered and culturally sensitive, offering outpatient counseling services including individual and family therapy.

• Implement trauma-informed practices during sessions to promote a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
\n
• Collaborate with clinical service teams and service coordinators to ensure holistic care for each client, facilitating interdisciplinary communication.

• Complete all necessary clinical documentation, including client assessments, service plans, and other required paperwork, in a timely and concise manner.
\n
• Maintain detailed case files according to program requirements, including regular updates and documenting session notes.
\n
• Manage an assigned caseload of clients, ensuring proactive crisis intervention and support as needed.
\n
• Participate in professional development and team activities as required, contributing to the continuous improvement of our service delivery model.

• Additional duties may be assigned based on the evolving needs of the organization and our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving vulnerable populations, including individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. As a counselor, you will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing their unique cultural contexts and personal histories to foster effective therapeutic relationships and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Possession of a valid clinical license in California, specifically LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. Note that licensure requiring supervision will not be accepted.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance, contributing to overall team performance and client care management.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling, particularly with at-risk populations. Experience with telehealth service delivery is highly valued as it enhances our remote care capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
