Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, establishing a clear baseline for treatment.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Monitor client progress through regular assessments, providing adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Educate clients and families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to promote overall wellness.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, overseeing records throughout the therapeutic process.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on clients experiencing a variety of mood disorders, ranging from mild anxiety to severe depression and bipolar disorder. Our clinic serves a diverse population, including individuals from low-income backgrounds, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Each client presents unique challenges and backgrounds, requiring a tailored approach to therapy that respects their individual experiences and context.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active LMFT license in the state of Florida.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
