Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving patients' specific therapeutic goals, regularly tracking and documenting treatment responses and progress.
• Continuously assess and redefine therapeutic goals, modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient progress.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members on the use of assistive devices and therapeutic modalities, ensuring they have the tools to promote their own healing and recovery.
• Engage in professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and maintaining knowledge of advancements in physical therapy practices.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid, unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and other technology relevant to patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist is preferred, although new graduates with a passion for patient care and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
