Work Environment

You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant Cape Coral area, known for its beautiful weather and access to outdoor activities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations to create tailored treatment plans.
• Implement effective treatment programs for a diverse patient base, including those with orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports-related conditions.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies and technologies to deliver high-quality care, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.
• Engage with patients and their families, educating them about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs to enhance self-management.
• Document all treatment sessions and patient interactions meticulously in our electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes and contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities, sharing insights and strategies for improved patient care.
• Meet established performance goals and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a wide range of patient populations, including athletes recovering from injuries, children with developmental conditions, and adults overcoming post-surgical challenges or chronic pain issues. By fostering strong therapeutic relationships, you can help patients achieve their functional goals and promote long-term health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and families.
• Proficient in computer literacy, particularly in electronic health record systems and documentation tools.
• A proven ability to build rapport and trust with patients, enhancing their treatment experience.
