Work Environment

This position entails working onsite in patients' homes, providing personalized therapy sessions that cater to individual needs. As a part of our team, you will enjoy the flexibility of choosing your own hours, with a schedule available from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a home care environment, establishing individualized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic modalities.
• Implement techniques including exercise, stretching, and hands-on therapy tailored to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Track and document patient progress rigorously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Engage in regular reevaluation of therapeutic goals to guide the treatment process and make necessary adaptations.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members on the use of assistive devices and effective therapy practices.
• Continuously enhance your professional knowledge by participating in workshops and educational opportunities, thus contributing to a culture of excellence at Westminster Care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The individual in this role will work with diverse patient populations, ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients, who are often recuperating from conditions such as fractures, surgeries, or chronic illnesses. You will play a critical role in helping these individuals restore their physical function and regain independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (a Doctorate of Physical Therapy is preferred).
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer and word processing skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• A flexible, agile approach to patient care.
• Ability to function independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical or home care setting, though recent graduates demonstrating strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in creating and implementing innovative treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
