Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, allowing you to interact directly with patients in their homes, where you can provide tailored therapy in a comfortable and familiar environment. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, offering a balanced work-life dynamic that fosters both personal and professional development. You will be equipped with modern tools and technologies to enhance therapy efficiency and effectiveness, including electronic medical record systems (EMR) such as WebPT.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their goals and individual needs before developing tailored treatment plans.
• Manage an average caseload of one patient per hour while ensuring each individual receives high-quality, focused attention.
• Implement various physical therapy modalities and exercises designed to enhance patients' mobility and reduce pain.
• Explore innovative treatment methods to decrease reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Motivate and guide patients through rehabilitation exercises, ensuring adherence to their customized care plans.
• Facilitate regular assessments to monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and care services utilizing EMR software.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Encourage healthy lifestyles and wellness practices by incorporating strength, flexibility, and coordination exercises into therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, such as sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitations, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient base often comprises individuals seeking to regain mobility and alleviate pain through personalized rehabilitation strategies. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in the field.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions reported against it.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise program development, and implementation.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure efficient patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven success in using evidence-based interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and motivating patients throughout their recovery journey.

Compensation and Benefits
