Work Environment

This position will be on-site at our facility located in Melbourne, Florida. You will be working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals committed to patient-centered care. Our collaborative environment fosters continuous learning and improvement, encouraging therapists to share insights and effective treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' goals and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques to address mobility challenges, improve strength, and enhance coordination.
• See an average of 2-3 patients per hour, providing one-on-one attention and personalized care.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and promote healing.
• Document patient progress thoroughly, ensuring compliance with therapeutic standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to devise comprehensive care strategies, including discussing patient progress during interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Motivate patients through encouragement and support to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
• Promote wellness by educating patients about lifestyle modifications, exercises, and preventive measures.
• Continuously assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with individuals across a wide demographic, including athletes, active adults, and seniors, all seeking to regain mobility and optimize their physical capabilities. Patients receive care tailored to their unique challenges, including pre-operative rehabilitation and post-operative recovery protocols.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist License with no board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Ability to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number before employment.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid foundation in therapeutic exercises.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating effective treatment methodologies.
• Proven ability to create personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater to individual patient needs.
• Experience in motivation and patient engagement techniques to enhance treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the attractive salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and holidays. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for qualified candidates.
