Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed to provide comprehensive sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation services. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care to our patients, predominantly those covered by private medical insurance, ensuring they receive the personalized treatment they deserve in a welcoming environment.

Work Environment

As part of a small, collaborative team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will thrive in an onsite outpatient office setting. Our practice emphasizes teamwork and open communication, allowing all members to share insights, ensure continuity of care, and enhance treatment strategies. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a work-life balance that caters to your professional and personal needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess each patient's individual needs, goals, and functional abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload effectively, providing one-on-one care—about a patient every hour—to ensure focused attention and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality treatment, including manual therapy techniques and progressive exercise protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adapting care plans as required and setting new goals based on performance and feedback.
• Engage patients in their recovery by motivating them and providing education on self-management strategies to enhance their skills and functionality.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions, treatment provided, and progress in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialty therapists, to ensure comprehensive treatment and patient care.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by designing and recommending fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Encourage patients to explore alternatives to medication and surgery, enhancing their overall health and wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse array of patients, primarily focusing on orthopedic injuries and sports medicine. Our clientele ranges from athletes seeking to enhance performance and recover from injuries to individuals overcoming surgeries, chronic pain, or mobility issues. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to create meaningful relationships with patients and contribute significantly to their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with an unblemished professional record.
• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT) is required.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise protocols suited to patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, will be advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated success in implementing comprehensive care plans that drive improved patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary range of $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience.
