Build Up Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Palm Bay, Florida. Work Environment

Located in the beautiful city of Palm Bay, our rehabilitation facility is a vibrant and welcoming space designed to promote patient comfort and engagement. The work setting is collaborative, where Physical Therapists, support staff, and physicians work together seamlessly to ensure that each patient receives comprehensive care. This role requires hands-on, patient-focused work, where therapists typically engage with patients in our therapy gym and treatment rooms throughout the regular Monday to Friday schedule, either from 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation treatment plans that address mobility challenges, pain management, and functional limitations.
• Implement targeted therapeutic interventions, including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and gait training.
• Provide education to patients and their families on care plans, rehabilitation exercises, and activity modifications.
• Utilize a variety of techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based practices to enhance recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously using electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to discuss patient progress and integrate feedback into care strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid State Physical Therapy license.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Ability to navigate electronic health records efficiently and accurately.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatment protocols.
• Exceptional assessment, treatment skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly desirable.
• Two or more years of experience in a clinical orthopedic setting preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
