Work Environment

This position operates within a home care setting, which allows you to bring therapy directly to patients in their residences, providing a comfortable and familiar setting for treatment. Your role will involve traveling to various locations throughout Palm Bay and its surrounding areas, offering flexibility and insight into our community's healthcare needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, integrating clinical experience to determine individual acuity levels and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and use of modalities tailored to each patient's specific condition.
• Monitor patient progress closely, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation outcomes while ensuring open lines of communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Provide educational resources and home programs to patients, empowering them with the knowledge and strategies needed for self-management and recovery.
• Document patient care activities meticulously and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies to ensure the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on individuals experiencing a range of orthopedic issues, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, or other musculoskeletal conditions. Many of our patients may also face additional challenges from chronic illnesses, cognitive impairments, or psychosocial factors. As a Physical Therapist, your skill set will directly influence their rehabilitation journey, fostering improved mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is required.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical or orthopedic setting, showcasing a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to make autonomous decisions based on clinical assessments.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure seamless documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and well-being.
