Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Baylor Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Directing personalized physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring functional ability as outlined in patients' care plans.
• Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of treatment plans and the highest standards of patient care.
• Evaluating patients' functional abilities using diagnostic tests and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to assess and adjust treatment strategies.
• Developing and modifying patient care plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient responses to therapy.
• Instructing patients and families in therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques, fostering independence in daily activities.
• Recording and documenting patient responses and progress meticulously for clinical records and compliance purposes.
• Participating in case conferences to evaluate treatment effectiveness and coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintaining current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy and regulatory requirements to deliver the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The typical patient population comprises individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or those needing rehabilitation post-injury. We serve a diverse community, including elderly patients requiring geriatric care as well as younger adults and children. Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and current PT license in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience
