Description Join our team as Executive Chef for a new, multi-outlet hotel opening late 2026! Exciting things are coming to Quorum Hospitality, with a new hotel scheduled to open toward the end of 2026! We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to help build and lead the culinary program from the ground up, before the first plate ever hits a table. This is a rare and career-defining opportunity to join a project in the early, pre-opening phase, where your culinary vision, leadership, and passion will help shape the identity and long‑term success of a truly exceptional property. The hotel, currently named Eddy Redondo Beach, will be launched as part of a major soft brand collection, with more details to be shared as we move closer to opening. As Executive Chef, you won’t just be running kitchens, you’ll be crafting an entire food and beverage experience across multiple distinct concepts, each with its own personality and “wow” factor, including: American Brasserie with French influence Latin‑inspired rooftop and pool bar Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 / year Your role: This position calls for a true culinary leader - someone who builds teams, develops talent, drives creative direction, and keeps three kitchens humming across multiple floors. You’ll be a conductor: setting the vision, overseeing quality and execution, floating where the operation needs you most, and occasionally stepping into expo to make sure every plate that leaves the kitchen is one you’re proud of. Key responsibilities include: Lead all culinary operations across three distinct outlets, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation. Develop menus, nightly specials, and seasonal offerings while maintaining tight food and labor cost controls. Build, hire, train, and mentor high‑performing kitchen teams across all outlets and banquet operations. Champion cross‑utilization of premium ingredients to maximize efficiency and profitability. Oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, and inventory management. Partner with banquet operations—whether you bring strong events experience yourself or build a team around those strengths. Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and health compliance. Collaborate closely with hotel leadership to drive the overall guest experience and property success. Participate in pre‑opening planning, concept refinement, and kitchen build‑out. Other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For: Leader with a proven track record of running multi‑outlet or complex culinary operations. Well‑rounded culinary background that includes some foundation in classical or French‑influenced technique. A natural fit for coastal and seafood‑forward cuisine - you think in composed dishes, not just center‑of‑plate proteins. Comfort in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments without sacrificing quality. An established local presence or professional reputation in the Southern California market is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or formal training a strong plus Alcohol Awareness and Food Handler Certification (as required by state) Ability to work long hours on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds.
