This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $200,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. Work Environment

The role is entirely onsite, allowing our Family Nurse Practitioner to engage closely with patients, their families, and the healthcare team in a collaborative atmosphere. You will work in an environment that fosters continuous learning and professional growth, supported by experienced colleagues who are equally passionate about community health. Standard working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics until 8:00 p.m. and participation in weekend health events when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings of patients in a home care setting, developing individualized care plans tailored to their specific health needs.
• Diagnose and effectively manage a range of acute and chronic medical conditions, with an emphasis on preventive care and promotion of healthful living.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to order and interpret diagnostic tests, ensuring timely and accurate results guide treatment decisions.
• Provide ongoing patient education and counseling, empowering individuals and families to actively participate in their healthcare journey.
• Collaborate with various community organizations and healthcare stakeholders to plan and execute health education programs and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care.
• Engage with local health fairs and community outreach events, increasing awareness of health issues and improving access to care for underserved populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will work with diverse patient populations, focusing particularly on individuals and families in the Henderson community who benefit from home care services. You will provide culturally sensitive care, advocating for their healthcare rights, and ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• An active nursing license in the state of Nevada.
• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effectively engaging with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least 3-5 years of clinical experience in community health or public health settings.
