Relationship Renewal Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for a full-time position. This role will be primarily remote, allowing you to provide critical support to individuals undergoing treatment at our detox center. Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position within a collaborative detox center environment. Although most interactions will occur online, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of healthcare professionals, nurses, and support staff dedicated to a seamless delivery of care. This role offers flexible working hours, predominantly Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening and weekend hours required based on client needs. On-call availability may also be necessary to provide support during urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the psychosocial needs of clients in detox, with a focus on their emotional, mental, and social health.
• Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, ensuring the plans address individual goals and preferences.
• Provide empathetic counseling and emotional support, aiding clients through the challenges of their recovery journey.
• Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring they have access to necessary community resources and support services.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care, facilitating enhanced outcomes through coordinated efforts.
• Regularly monitor client progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Educate clients and families about available community resources, support programs, and coping strategies to foster social engagement and personal growth.
• Maintain meticulous and updated documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and care plan progress in compliance with ethical and organizational standards.
• Stay current with best practices and new developments in social work policies, particularly those relevant to substance abuse and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant social work capacity, preferably within a detox or mental health setting.
• Strong understanding of social work practices, principles, and community resources, particularly related to addiction and recovery.
• Exceptional assessment, counseling, and advocacy skills, with a genuine concern for client well-being.
• Adept communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred to manage client documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic modalities commonly used in substance abuse treatment.

Compensation and Benefits
