Key Responsibilities

As a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in the application of individualized treatment plans, focusing on enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Leading patients through targeted therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities to promote physical well-being and alleviate pain.
• Educating patients on body mechanics, appropriate exercise techniques, and creating home exercise programs to bolster their recovery.
• Administering therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of Physical Therapists.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress related to range of motion, strength improvements, and overall functionality, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Preparing and organizing treatment areas and therapy equipment to facilitate smooth sessions.
• Collaborating effectively with other professionals, such as Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to coordinate seamless patient care.
• Providing consistent emotional support and encouragement, contributing to a nurturing, positive rehabilitation environment.
• Adhering strictly to ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality throughout the care process.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• A solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions relevant to physical therapy.
• Proficiency in the application of therapeutic techniques and modalities under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Effective communication skills to interact positively with patients and collaborate proficiently with team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
