Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including reviewing patient history, performing assessments, and establishing treatment goals tailored to each patient's individual needs.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring their active involvement in the goal-setting process.
• Implement effective treatment protocols based on assessment results while maintaining a flexible approach to adapt to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and modify treatment plans when necessary.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manage your schedule efficiently to meet productivity expectations while participating in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote our services.
• Engage in the development of departmental objectives, contributing to an environment of growth and excellence.
• Participate in continuing education activities, enhancing clinical skills while also serving as a mentor to Physical Therapy students or new team members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients by being adaptable and responsive to their needs throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At our Avenel rehabilitation center, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-surgical recovery patients, individuals with chronic pain conditions, to athletes recovering from sports injuries. Our commitment to individualized care enables you to tailor rehabilitation strategies to each patient's unique circumstances, facilitating their journey back to optimal function and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and effective communication.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation, is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient care is also desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
