Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, evaluating clients’ mental health and crafting detailed clinical summaries for future reference.

• Collaboratively design structured treatment plans that include specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) objectives tailored to individual client needs.

• Systematically document all aspects of patient care, including progress notes, treatment modifications, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Monitor and review treatment progress regularly, actively engaging in communication with clients, families, and other professionals involved to adapt therapy as necessary.

• Build trusting relationships with clients through empathetic communication, demonstrating cultural competence and an understanding of diverse backgrounds.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights, discuss client care strategies, and enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health and substance use challenges. You will work primarily with adults seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions. By employing telehealth, counselors can reach clients who may experience barriers to traditional in-person therapy, such as mobility issues, geographic limitations, or social anxiety. Your work not only involves individual sessions but may also extend to group therapy environments—fostering community among clients through virtual support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
