Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet specific mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engaging in meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions for clients and their families, imparting essential knowledge about mental health resources, coping strategies, and support systems available within the community.

• Monitor and document client progress, maintaining accurate records within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure effective follow-up and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clinic serves a broad demographic within the Abingdon community, reflecting a variety of cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic circumstances, which enriches the therapeutic experience and requires cultural competence and sensitivity.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n
