This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own space while maintaining professional standards. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient base. This approach ensures that we can cater to varying schedules and provide timely support to those we serve.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s individual experiences and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques customized to align with patients' cultural backgrounds and specific needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health challenges and fostering emotional resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to maintain an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available community resources to encourage informed decision-making.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance care coordination.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case conferences to ensure comprehensive treatment and enhance service delivery.

• Engage in ongoing training and development to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment and cultural competency.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• A profound understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and the principles of cultural competence in therapy.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy, with a focus on culturally responsive approaches.

• Exemplary crisis intervention skills, with the capability to remain composed under pressure.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and establish rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and associated technologies.

• A commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and the maintenance of appropriate boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in an outpatient mental health clinic environment, particularly with multicultural populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
