Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible remote work environment focusing on telehealth, making mental health therapy accessible to families and individuals across diverse locations. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs and schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients’ unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver individual, couples, and family therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, focusing on common mental health concerns to foster community amongst participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care that addresses the whole person.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute mental health challenges.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, ensuring they feel empowered in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous electronic health records to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge base.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population, including individuals facing chronic mental health disorders, those seeking support for life transitions, or families navigating relationship challenges. Our clients span various demographics, giving you the opportunity to engage with and understand different perspectives and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based mental health treatment modalities and disorders.
\n
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing strategic, impactful treatment plans.
\n
• Experience in providing therapeutic services to varied populations, specifically through telehealth platforms.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with patients.
\n
• Strong ethical judgment and adherence to professional standards of practice.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technology.
\n
• A collaborative spirit, ready to work as an integral member of a multidisciplinary health team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a variety of therapeutic settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, or community health organizations.

• Previous telehealth service provision, demonstrating adaptability to remote therapy environments.
\n
• Knowledgeable of additional therapeutic approaches including, but not limited to, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
