Job Details Location: Lima, OH 45801 Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Assignment Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry / Stepdown Assignment Length: 13 weeks Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Shift: 3 x 12-hour night shifts Hours Per Week: 36 Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Start Date: September 21, 2026 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or compact state eligibility Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required At least 6 months of acute care hospital experience preferred BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire and required within 6 months of hire NIH Stroke Certification preferred CCRN or PCCN certification preferred Ability to complete and pass a dysrhythmia exam Comfort working night shifts in a fast-paced telemetry/stepdown environment Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Responsibilities Provide direct patient care using the nursing process from assessment through evaluation Monitor telemetry patients and respond promptly to changes in condition Manage cardiac and medical patients, including chest pain workups, CHF exacerbations, and pre/post cardiac cath care Administer medications safely and titrate drips as appropriate, including Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin Care for patients with chest tubes, ports, PICC lines, JP drains, and other standard post-operative devices Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care and teaching Support patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice Maintain calm, professional communication while delivering compassionate bedside care Document care accurately and follow unit policies, procedures, and standards Why Consider This Travel Nursing Job?
