Work Environment\n

This is a remote position based out of Bridgeport, Connecticut, which allows for a balance between work and personal commitments while serving families in a school environment. You will interact with families, educators, and healthcare providers in virtual settings, utilizing technology to foster engagement and maintain effective communication. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments of children, identifying their developmental strengths and challenges.
\n
• Collaborate in the creation and ongoing implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
\n
• Monitor and analyze outcomes to ensure effective progress of each child within team settings.
\n
• Provide insightful support and education to families, empowering them with strategies to enhance their children's growth.
\n
• Administer appropriate evaluations in compliance with all Federal and State regulations and best practices.
\n
• Build trusting relationships with children, families, and team members to cultivate a supportive learning environment.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop joint plans with families and recommend appropriate interventions.
\n
• Support families by providing relevant information, resources, and skills to enhance their child’s overall developmental journey.
\n
• Implement the coaching model and natural environment teaching principles to facilitate learning.
\n
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times, securing a safe environment for clients and colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on infants and toddlers who may face developmental delays or disabilities. You will work directly with children and their families, advocating for their needs and facilitating access to appropriate resources and services. The aim is to foster a developmental trajectory that allows these young individuals to reach their milestones effectively. Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Doctorate of Social Work is required.

• Current LCSW licensure from the Department of Public Health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
