Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' mental health, identifying needs and developing tailored treatment plans that align with best practices in school-based therapy.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques for individual, group, and family sessions, customizing interventions to address a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including school counselors, special education personnel, and external mental health professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for students.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies for students in acute distress, utilizing your expertise to provide immediate support and resources as needed.

• Participate in community outreach programs that promote mental health awareness and education among students, staff, and families, working to dismantle stigma and foster a supportive school environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is primarily focused on serving school-aged children and adolescents from diverse cultural, socio-economic, and ethnic backgrounds. You will work closely with students ranging from elementary to high school levels, addressing their unique mental health challenges and collaborating with their families and educators to create a supportive network.

Qualifications\n

• Possess an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Have earned a master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating meaningful rapport with clients, families, and team members.

• Show cultural competence and sensitivity, effectively interacting with students and families from varied backgrounds.
\n
• Maintain strong organizational skills and time management abilities to ensure precise and timely documentation and follow-up.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a school setting or with adolescent mental health preferred, demonstrating an understanding of school systems.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices specific to school therapy and measurable outcome tracking.

• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technologies for delivering therapy sessions remotely to ensure accessibility.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
