Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and mental health evaluations, ensuring thorough documentation from the first consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Devise individualized and evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse range of clients, encompassing individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing appropriate therapeutic techniques and modalities.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive intervention plans.

• Follow up with external healthcare providers for clients requiring hospitalization and ensure continuity of care.

• Identify and address barriers that may hinder client recovery, providing support and resources to mitigate these challenges.

• Assist in educating family members and primary caregivers on managing various behavioral and mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a broad cross-section of the community, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. As a therapist, you will work closely with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families, creating tailored therapeutic plans that cater to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficient understanding of electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, for maintaining accurate and organized client records.
\n
• Strong foundation in the integration of physical and emotional health issues, alongside experience with addiction disorders.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills that foster a caring and empathetic therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge of psychotropic medications and their effects, alongside a collaborative approach to treatment with medical specialists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
