Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing Mental Health Counselors the flexibility to create their own schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, and families to determine their mental health needs and necessary interventions.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans while ensuring the timely communication of findings to other healthcare staff and relevant stakeholders through meetings and documentation.

• Providing clinical social work and counseling interventions using evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to empower clients in achieving their mental health goals.

• Facilitating continuous case management for assigned patients, collaborating with hospital staff, community organizations, and outpatient resources to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintaining ethical documentation practices and adhering to organizational policies to uphold the transparency and integrity of patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients undergoing detoxification and recovery processes, as well as individuals dealing with acute and chronic mental health disorders. Your role will involve a variety of age groups and backgrounds, necessitating a customized approach to care that respects each client's unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, necessary for effective collaboration.

• Ability to work between 10 to 40 clinical hours per week or more, offering flexibility based on your availability.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, candidates with experience in substance use treatment, detoxification programs, or co-occurring disorders will be particularly well-suited for this role. Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth platforms is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
