Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours while engaging with clients and collaborating with other professionals via telehealth platforms. As a Mental Health Counselor in a Detox Center, you will work primarily with clients who are at a critical stage of recovery, often dealing with various co-occurring disorders. You will utilize digital health records to ensure comprehensive care coordination, and maintain documentation per legal and ethical standards. Your work will be supported by a strong network of healthcare professionals dedicated to creating a positive and impactful recovery experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments to evaluate and diagnose clients' mental health conditions upon their admission to the Detox Center.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on both mental health and substance abuse issues to guide clients through their recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that contribute to personal and emotional development, employing therapeutic techniques suited to each client’s unique needs.

• Provide crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress or mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional stability.

• Educate clients and families about mental health disorders, coping strategies, and available resources, empowering them with the knowledge to support recovery.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to ensure integrated care that addresses both physical and mental health aspects.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
