Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive psychotherapy and mental health counseling to students, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma.

• Carry out thorough assessments of students' emotional and behavioral health, ensuring the development of accurate and effective treatment plans.
\n
• Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs, regularly updating these plans based on feedback and progress.

• Collaborate with educational staff, including teachers and administrators, to create a supportive environment for students facing mental health challenges.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, ensuring they feel empowered and informed.

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records in adherence to regulatory standards and ethical practices using Electronic Health Records (EHRs).

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and develop best practices within our multidisciplinary team.

• Ensure that you are up to date with the latest research and practices in school-based mental health service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work predominantly with school-aged children and adolescents, navigating the complexities of issues such as academic stress, family dynamics, and identity development. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting, ideally within educational systems.

• Demonstrable skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing culturally sensitive treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
