Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize established evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide client sessions effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote holistic health and wellness.

• Monitor and document client progress systematically, making adjustments to treatment plans as required to enhance outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay abreast of current research in mood disorders to continually refine treatment methodologies and improve client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Furthermore, our clinic addresses the unique needs of underserved populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, allowing therapists to make meaningful contributions to the lives of those facing significant challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation in the state of Massachusetts.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
