West Valley Physical Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and motivated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Edison, New Jersey. This role entails supporting our patients on their journeys to regain mobility and functional independence following injury or surgery. Work Environment

This onsite position occurs in a dynamic rehabilitation setting where teamwork and collaboration are at the forefront. You will be working alongside a small team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant who share a common goal of delivering high-quality care to our patients. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment in the heart of Edison.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to determine the individual objectives and treatment requirements of each patient, ensuring personalized care.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, delivering one-on-one therapy sessions with a focus on quality care, typically seeing one patient per hour.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at promoting movement and physical wellness.
• Utilize manual therapy and advanced exercise prescription techniques to optimize patient outcomes, focusing on recovery and rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observable outcomes and ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to create an integrated approach to patient care.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies, motivating them to adhere to their treatment regimens.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle through tailored fitness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation via electronic medical records systems like WebPT.
• Contribute to a positive team dynamic by actively participating in team meetings and sharing insights on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At West Valley Physical Therapy Services, we primarily serve a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey with a clean record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, with a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques.
• Proficiency in developing and leading exercise regimens tailored to patient capabilities and needs.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical setting that emphasizes sports medicine and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
