Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility. The typical work schedule consists of weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations utilizing both standard and advanced assessment tools to determine patients' functional capabilities and limitations.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices that address each patient's unique needs.
• Use various therapeutic modalities, exercises, and manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and promote healing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, home exercise regimens, and strategies for preventing future disabilities or injuries.
• Document patient progress accurately and comprehensively in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards, ensuring clear communication within the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, sports injuries, and trauma. You'll engage with patients of all ages, tailoring your approach according to their specific recovery goals, impairments, and lifestyle needs. This client-focused care is essential in facilitating effective rehabilitation and overall patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in orthopedic rehabilitation settings is required to ensure familiarity with clinical practices and patient management.
