Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Accounts Receivable Coordinator role at a healthy structural engineering firm in Irvine. Will join a team at corporate office in Irvine. Sits in office daily, Monday - Friday, full time hours. Strong work/life balance with little to no overtime. $30.00 - $34.00 per hour ($62,400 - $70,720 per year) DOE + strong benefits + bonus potential + profit share.

Accounts Receivable Coordinator will be responsible for project approval processes, invoicing and collections with a focus on client satisfaction and ensuring all billing is issued accurately and collected in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue billings including uploading to client portals where necessary
- Create client required billing support documentation such as payment applications, lien releases and reports
- Prepare lump sum and time & material invoices including collecting phase completion feedback, updating for description accuracy and identifying any exceeding client approvals
- Communicate client requested billing changes with principals and engineering team and process revisions when appropriate
- Issue monthly statements and contact clients for payment status
- Report on aging and collection status to leadership team
- Track new project requests through to client approval including logging status and following up on outstanding requests
- Review client contract documents for confirmation of fees, billing type, scope and insurance requirements
- Assist with deposit review to ensure that payments are accurately applied
Accounts Receivable Coordinator Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of billing and collection experience in the construction, development or engineering industry
- Must be proficient with Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitasking
- Excellent team spirit, communication skills and attention to detail
