We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated educational team in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your teaching experience while making a lasting impact on students with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will provide tailored instruction and support to students with physical, emotional, cognitive, and learning challenges. Responsibilities
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, specialists, and school support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals using engaging, differentiated teaching methods
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and tools to address the individual needs of each student
• Establish clear learning objectives, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student development and support home-based reinforcement strategies
• Valid state teaching credential in Special Education
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience within the past 5 years
