Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Active Colorado Special Education teaching certification (CO SPED Certificate)
• Demonstrated experience as a special education teacher or case manager within a K-12 setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with all state and federal special education regulations

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as case manager for a caseload of students (exact details pending), ensuring delivery of individualized education plans
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to plan and modify curriculum and interventions
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings, effectively communicating progress to families and staff
• Collect and analyze data to inform instructional decisions and adjust supports as needed
• Provide direct instruction in both resource and inclusive settings, adapting methods to meet student needs
• Advocate for students’ educational rights and promote a positive, supportive school environment
