Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations to gather relevant data on students’ mental health and social wellbeing.

• Develop, present, and regularly update individualized treatment plans, collaborating with the Clinical Drug and Recovery Program / School Treatment Team to ensure alignment with best practices.
\n
• Engage in clinical case conferences, sharing insights and contributing to the collective knowledge base to improve patient care.
\n
• Deliver educational lectures on chemical dependency tailored for adolescents, parents, and educators, enhancing understanding and awareness within the school community.
\n
• Provide individual and group counseling services focused on chemical dependency, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students.
\n
• Facilitate Adolescent, Significant Other, Family, and Multi-Family therapy sessions, addressing the diverse needs of families affected by substance use disorders.
\n
• Administer case management services, including resource coordination and referrals, connecting families with additional community resources.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is the adolescent population within the school system. You will work with students dealing with various emotional and behavioral challenges, often related to substance abuse or mental health disorders. By providing targeted interventions and support, you will help these individuals navigate their difficulties and encourage their personal growth and development.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in social work (MSW) or a closely related field is mandatory.

• Current Oregon state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
\n
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in supervised addiction medicine therapy is essential.

• Experience working specifically within educational settings or with adolescent populations.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

• Experience in multi-family therapy settings and evidence-based practices in addiction therapy.
