Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms among clients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective therapeutic outcomes.

• Provide support and education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to foster understanding and resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to offer integrated care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with emerging trends and research in mood disorder treatment.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation reflects accurate accounts of treatment and progress.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss client treatment plans and share insights with colleagues.

• Actively advocate for mental health awareness and support clients in overcoming societal stigmas associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. A significant aspect of this role involves engaging with vulnerable populations such as marginalized individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic violence.
