Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detail-oriented assessments and diagnosis of clients through individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients’ unique goals, including action items and measurable outcomes to facilitate their progress.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and systemic family therapy, to assist clients in overcoming impediments to their mental health.
• Provide timely and effective crisis intervention for clients in immediate distress, ensuring safety and accessibility to necessary resources.
• Diligently maintain confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care for clients.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and adhere to licensure requirements through continued education and training.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a particular focus on creating a welcoming and affirming environment for all clients.
• Experience in facilitating therapy for diverse couples and families, demonstrating cultural competence and an understanding of varying backgrounds.
• Proficiency in employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience working specifically with addiction and substance use issues, particularly within a community health setting.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and an ability to adapt therapeutic approaches accordingly.
• Experience with teletherapy and remote counseling technologies, ensuring a comfortable client experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is **USD 80,000 – 90,000** annually, depending on your qualifications and experience.
