Accounting Assistant
A global beauty and personal care company seeks an Accounting Assistant for a four-month hybrid contract in Los Angeles, California. This role supports the finance team with day-to-day accounting operations and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Prepare routine financial reports and data summaries for management
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues
Requirements
- 1–3 years of accounting or finance support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Los Angeles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
- Background in consumer goods or retail industry
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
