Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health needs and status, creating a trusting relationship from the outset.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that draw on evidence-based methodologies tailored to the unique circumstances and goals of each client.

• Engage in regular therapy sessions, utilizing both individual and group modalities as suited to client needs, while equipping clients with practical skills and coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records within our EHR system, ensuring all documentation complies with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive client care and successful referrals when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population, addressing a wide range of mental health disorders. This includes clients facing challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and those struggling with addiction or eating disorders. Your role will be crucial in offering a safe space for all clients, ensuring culturally relevant and sensitive practices are integrated into your therapy sessions.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of direct experience working in mental health environments, demonstrating a robust understanding of various therapy approaches.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and their evidence-based treatments, along with a strong grasp of cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
