Work Environment\n

This position operates within a remote work environment, promoting flexibility and work-life balance while ensuring that our therapists remain connected and supported by our team. Our outpatient office is equipped with the latest technology to facilitate seamless communication with both patients and health professionals. Although most work hours are set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be necessary to cater to patient schedules and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gauge the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual findings.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions suitable for various mental health issues, actively engaging patients in their treatment process.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, providing guidance and support to parents and caregivers to foster an environment conducive to healing.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists to align strategies and ensure comprehensive care, liaising with other healthcare professionals as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention support during challenging situations involving young individuals, ensuring immediate access to necessary resources and care.

• Educate both patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources to empower them in their wellness journey.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development endeavors to continuously enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to ensure the most effective treatment strategies are employed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on providing mental health services to children and adolescents dealing with a range of issues, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and behavioral issues. This pivotal role requires building trust and rapport with young clients and their families to facilitate effective therapeutic relationships and positive treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience delivering psychotherapy to children and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience, with additional opportunities for performance-based bonuses. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
