Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a range of mental health concerns, including behavioral disorders, anxiety, depression, and ADHD, tailored specifically to the developmental stages of young clients.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and understand the unique needs of children and adolescents, forming a basis for effective treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while collaborating closely with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a unified and holistic treatment approach.

• Deliver family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to foster nurturing family environments that encourage emotional health.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies involving youth, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to acute situations.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and resources within the community, empowering them to be active participants in the healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently for record-keeping.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance skills and stay current with advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices within the field to continuously improve outcomes for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents grappling with a variety of mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively in a supportive environment designed to promote mental, emotional, and social well-being. This role allows you to build meaningful relationships with clients, helping them navigate and overcome the hurdles they face in their developmental journey.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent mental health credential is required. Please note that we cannot accept applications from those with an associates license due to non-billable status with Medicare.

• Strong knowledge in child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy.

• Ability to foster trust and rapport with clients and their families, creating a safe space for open dialogue.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Team-oriented mindset with the capability to collaborate efficiently with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

• A Master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related fields is required.
