Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in our rehabilitation center equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and tools. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess a patient's physical condition, including a thorough review of medical history and specific performance assessments.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring active involvement in setting personalized goals.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols based on assessment findings, adapting approaches as necessary to align with the patient's changing health status.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and modify the plan of care based on documented patient progress or setbacks.
• Manage discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients post-therapy by providing tailored follow-up care recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries, which are essential for safe continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse range of patients experiencing various physical challenges due to injury, surgery, or chronic conditions. Our patient demographic includes both adolescents and adults, requiring customized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current professional license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, necessary for all healthcare providers.
