Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and coordinated nursing care for patients in the ER according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patients, monitor status, administer medications and treatments within scope, and respond promptly to condition changes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; reassess and document patient progress.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines; communicate clearly to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure continuity of care across shifts.

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Emergency department nursing experience or demonstrated exposure; travel experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, high-acuity ER setting
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills; ability to supervise and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to travel for temporary assignments
