Construction Payroll Administrator

We are a well-established heavy civil construction firm seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage weekly payroll processing for a diverse workforce. Ensuring accurate pay for both union and non-union employees and adhering to collective bargaining agreements. About the Role The Payroll Administrator is responsible for accurately processing weekly payroll for multi company Non-Union and Unionized employees utilizing in-house payroll system. This position will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and accuracy will be the key to success. Key Responsibilities Calculating and processing wages, overtime, and deductions for all employees Payroll import, manual entry, and processing through Viewpoint accounting software. Understanding of union contracts and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreement and relevant regulations Responsible for the timely submission of weekly federal/state payroll taxes Set-up and Maintaining of New Hires and employee payroll changes Resolving payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries Generate weekly certified payroll/EEO reports Knowledgeable of multi-state/multi union benefits remittance reporting. Interact with Project Management team Garnishment processing Other duties as assigned Qualifications 2-4 years of office & union and non-union payroll experience Viewpoint experience a plus but will train right candidate Strong interpersonal skills Must have intermediate Word, Excel & Outlook skills Ability to multi-task and remain highly focused to ensure accuracy Ready to Join Us?
