Key Responsibilities As a licensed mental health therapist at New Leaf Counseling Center, you will: Conduct ethical and meaningful individual therapy sessions via video chat, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for clients. Utilize solution-focused treatment methods tailored to each client’s unique needs, moving towards tangible outcomes. Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals, systematically addressing their mental health concerns. Guide clients in recognizing and gaining insights into their experiences, feelings, and relationships, fostering personal growth. Monitor and document progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to enhance the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on working with stable, low-acuity adults who present a diverse array of mental health needs. The clients you work with may be navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, or relationship issues. Our objective is to equip individuals with the skills necessary to improve their quality of life and achieve their mental health goals. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. A current license to practice independently, which may include: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Please note: Only fully licensed individuals will be considered, and candidates must not have any disciplinary actions against their license. Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a sympathetic nature and the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong computer literacy skills to effectively navigate our platform and documentation systems. Preferred Experience While not required, having experience in outpatient therapy, specifically with low-acuity clients, is a plus. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and a proven ability to document and monitor patient progress accurately can greatly benefit your application.
