- Assess patients across various age groups using evidence-based evaluations and observational methods.
- Create individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate objectives and long-term development related to communication and swallowing.
- Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
- Collaborate with a range of professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, healthcare providers, and family members, to develop unified care strategies.
- Educate patients and their families, equipping them to support progress in an environment outside the clinical setting.
- Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity in care throughout the treatment progression.
- Maintain detailed and timely records that comply with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Commit to lifelong learning by participating in professional development opportunities and sharing knowledge with peers.
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.
- Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is desirable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
- Deep knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies for all age groups, alongside a solid comprehension of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
