Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations, assessing patient health through histories and diagnostic tests to inform treatment planning.
• Prescribe necessary medications and treatments in line with established protocols and patient needs.
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures that promote effective care delivery.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists or other medical facilities as required, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Communicate regularly with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding individual cases, enhancing patient outcomes through coordinated efforts.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to foster a smooth patient care experience, addressing any concerns or changes in patient status promptly.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on adult patients undergoing various treatments in a hospital environment, including those with chronic health issues, acute conditions, and rehabilitation needs. The Nurse Practitioner will address diverse patient requirements, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and improve health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner certificate program.
• A current, active, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• National certification from a recognized body such as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a hospital environment or an acute care setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex patient cases, utilizing problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
