About the Position

Psychiatrist (MD or DO) (Locum Tenens)

Location: Washington

Schedule: Day shift, typical hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Assignment Start: November 28, 2026

Position Overview

Psychiatry coverage supporting adult behavioral health services with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Provider will manage rounding, admissions, and discharges as required.

Clinical Scope

• Adult psychiatry care
• Inpatient rounding and admissions
• Discharge planning and documentation

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Active, unrestricted Washington medical license
• Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
• BLS certification
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Credentialing requirements include recent case logs or comparable clinical activity documentation
• Standard credentialing timelines apply; expedited pathways may be available for complete files
