Job Overview A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney in Hartford, CT. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive employment law advice and support across various HR-related areas, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Duties Provide employment law advice and prepare or review employment-related documents. Support clients in HR, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Recruiting, and Talent Management. Execute all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial. Monitor legislation, regulations, and case law to provide strategic advice. Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff members. Organize and monitor client files effectively. Requirements Minimum 2+ years of experience as an attorney in employment law. Experience in client/employer advice and counseling is a plus. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate and support a fast-paced department. Skilled at meeting strict deadlines under time pressure. Ability to manage time and resources effectively and independently. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to the bar in the state of Connecticut. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
