Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients. Staff members are equipped with the latest technology and tools to facilitate remote assessments and therapy sessions. Our virtual environment encourages collaboration among team members—including psychiatrists and psychologists—ensuring a holistic approach to patient care while prioritizing mental health professionals' work-life balance. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients’ presenting issues and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster a sense of community and address common mental health concerns.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies to maintain patient safety.
\n
• Educate patients on their conditions, the variety of treatment options available, and relevant community resources that can support their recovery.
\n
• Maintain diligent and accurate documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
\n
• Continuously expand your knowledge with the latest research and advancements in mental health practices to enhance treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and present with various mental health issues ranging from acute crises to ongoing conditions. You will work with adults, adolescents, and families, allowing you the opportunity to influence a significant cross-section of our community. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in New York State.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven ability to conduct thorough assessments and create effective treatment plans.
\n
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy to a varied clientele.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
\n
• Sound judgment and professional ethics, with a strict adherence to confidentiality.

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
