This position will be fully remote, allowing you to engage with clients via telehealth platforms. Although our operations are remote, you'll remain connected with your team through regular virtual meetings, case consultations, and collaborative planning sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate client needs and develop dynamic and personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to deliver effective treatment to clients.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, providing essential resources and fostering a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies, demonstrating compassion and urgency.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

• Engage in professional development activities, including case consultations and training sessions, to enhance your clinical skills and stay abreast of the latest industry practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes diverse individuals and families from various socioeconomic backgrounds in Jersey City. We prioritize a culturally sensitive approach, recognizing and respecting the unique challenges faced by our clients. Your role will center around understanding and addressing the complexities of mental health issues in different populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families affected by trauma, developmental disorders, or chronic mental health conditions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Strong foundation in mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and formulating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, including specialized knowledge in substance use disorders or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
